Winning at fishing without using a pole

This is very simple. Accept the competition then search the water, say from the tower u come down to the mouth of the river, for "Golden Shoals". Attack it and it may a yield a golden fish worth 15 fishing medals each. Switch realms and repeat. Fish may not be on some realms or someone may have gotten it so move on. Every second counts. This may be difficult to do on days that Fishing Comp is a lucky quest, otherwise its gravy.
